Vivouw

This is a folding bycycle constructed from a 16mm stainless tube with a stiff frame. This is also a suitable bike for tall people. The inspiration for this bike comes from a spacial tubeframe for example, the one we find in a Ducati motorbike.
I choose a Shimano Alfine 8-speed which can be used with a 38 teeth in the front and 16 at the back. In autumn I tested in the Eifel in Germany. Hill climbing: no problem!

The Vivouw is a comfortable travel bike. The bike can be quick-folded to fit in my car in a few minutes.

I want to build a few more. A Vivouw with some design changes (Every bike can always be improved) and brazed, instead of welding, from thin wall 25crmo4 steel and powder coated. Calculations gives as result a bike with a weight of around. 13 kg.
